Dickson Mbeya
Dickson Mbeya is the founder of the R for GIS and Remote Sensing Mentorship Program. He is an award-winning cartographer and an experienced geospatial professional with more than a decade of experience in utilizing geospatial technologies to derive information products.
He currently works as Cartography Technician with the Malawi University of Science and Technology. He has have 8 years experience teaching GIS and Remote Sensing in a higher learning institution. Dickson is an expert in utilizing industry standard commercial and open source GIS, mapping and satellite image processing software and programming languages.
